According to a former Google Ads employee, a number of advertising strategies that were once extensively supported by the firm are now seen as bad practices. Jyll Saskin Gales, a former Google employee and Google Ads instructor who previously sold ad solutions for the corporation, made the revelation on October 28, 2025. Gales said on social media that she had once "pitched to clients at Google" methods that she "would NEVER use" now. She clarified that while these suggestions were in line with the formal training she had received while working at Google, her perspective shifted when she transitioned from sales to direct campaign management.
